"The Simpsons" wrapped up its 23rd season Sunday night, and the Springfield family made sure to go out with a lot of style – with a little help from Lady Gaga, of course!
The pop superstar dropped by the long-running show to lend her voice and persona to help Lisa Simpson boost her self-esteem in an episode titled, “Lisa Goes Gaga.”
After being outed by others as the person behind self-aggrandizing posts on the Internet, Lisa is depressed and vulnerable. In comes the “Born This Way” singer, who knows just what will cheer her up – a flash mob!
"Now listen, if that didn't fundamentally change who you are, I don't know what," the blonde-haired cartoon-version of Gaga tells Lisa.
Gaga's character also emphasizes to Springfield’s notoriously zany residents to appreciate and love each other, urging them to embrace inclusiveness.
“All my monsters are beautiful ... Monsters don't need implants or a bitchin' monster car, monsters only need to love the monsters that they are,” she sings.
