One of the most highly-coveted “Little Black Books” in the history of man is about to go display and wouldn’t you just love know what’s inside?
The Chicago History Museum says Playboy founder Hugh Hefner “flipped the pages of this book while his celebrity was on the rise, building a world empire of fantasy and desire.”
And it’s not just the address book that will hit the “Unexpected Chicago” exhibit starting May 4. The museum says there was also a “While You Were Away” note tucked inside the book’s pages and they give us no other details, except that it’s “intriguing.” Hmmmmm...
Hefner was born in the Windy City and founded Playboy there as well. He closed his Chicago office last month in order to consolidate his business in Los Angeles.
Did Hefner list real names? Or perhaps pseudonyms? What gems do you think are hidden in those pages?
