Each week, our friends at BuzzFeed -- the savvy gatekeepers of the Internet's most viral content -- provide The Best of the Interwebs, a conveniently packaged round-up of the week's most awesome, ridiculous or awesomely ridiculous stuff.
This week, a couple of dads steal the show through snapshots and a singalong, a frog looks stunningly human, and a mouse picks an unlikely -- and honestly quite dangerous -- pillow.
So here you are: BuzzFeed's five best things from the last five days:
1. Dad and kids’ “Bohemian Rhapsody” singalong
For every boring car ride you’ve ever endured on the way to school, Robbie Parker, who we’ve crowned as the coolest dad in the world, provides the antidote. He plays “Bohemian Rhapsody” every morning, launching an all-out singalong with his children/bandmates. Parker says the kids even request that his wife play it at night, too.
2. Most creative dad in the world?
Dad and wedding photographer Jason Lee couldn't take his daughters to see his mother when she was diagnosed with cancer, so he came up with the idea to take these whimsical, creative photographs of them to post on his blog. These photos are a couple of years old, but resurfaced online this week. Such is the Internet. See Kristin and Kayla all grown up on his blog.
3. British same-sex marriage commercial
This spot was made for the Coalition for Equal Marriage in the UK and really struck a chord all over the world this week. The commercial features a soldier returning home and proposing to his boyfriend with the tagline, “All men can be husbands.”
4. Frog sits on a bench like a human
Sometimes frogs need to take a break, too. This video of an amphibian sitting on a bench like a human has racked up nearly four million views in just a few days. The YouTube user behind it makes clear: “The video was shot entirely fortuitously. The frog is OK. There is no nails, no glue, animal abuse, etc. Later, he jumped off the bench and galloped away to the water.”
5. Fearless mouse cuddles with cat
One brave mouse spoons with a sleeping cat in this YouTube hit. Usually cute cats run the show online, but this mouse seems to want a little bit of the spotlight.
