Trayvon case: Answers coming today

We’ll know more about the Trayvon Martin shooting soon.

Special Prosecutor Angela Corey says she will release new information about her investigation later this afternoon.

George Zimmerman says he shot Martin -- an unarmed teen walking back from a store -- in self-defense the night of February 26 in Sanford, Florida. Although he was taken to the police station and questioned that night, Zimmerman was not arrested. He has not been charged with any crime.

Corey announced the timeline for her impending news conference Tuesday night after Zimmerman’s attorneys announced their withdrawal as his legal counsel.

In her press release, Corey says she will hold the news conference in the next 72 hours and will give the media a three-hour heads up to get to the location she has chosen, either in Sanford, Florida, or Jacksonville, Florida.
