After years of court appearances, brief jail stints, and probation violations, Lindsay Lohan is being told the words we thought we might never hear -- “Ms Lohan, you’re in the homestretch."
Los Angeles Country Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner told LiLo this good news during her probation progress hearing on Wednesday morning. Lohan has been serving probation stemming from her two drunk driving convictions five years ago.
This is not the only good news the actress has received lately: Lohan is set to host “Saturday Night Live” on March 3 and is strongly rumored to be playing the role of Elizabeth Taylor in a new Lifetime film. Before those can begin, Lohan has to complete 14 more days of community service, which she was been serving by cleaning up the country morgue, and complete five more counseling sessions before her next progress update hearing on March 29.
"You seem to be getting your life back on track and that’s what we hoped for," Sautner said. "It's never our goal to put people in jail."
Sautner also said to Lohan, "All you have to do is obey all laws, stay out of trouble and get on with your life."
