Rihanna and Chris Brown reunite ... in song

NEED TO KNOW
  • Rihanna and Chris Brown are featured on remixes of each other’s songs – 'Birthday Cake' and 'Turn Up the Music'
  • Rihanna and Chris tweeted links to remixes on Monday

After much speculation, Rihanna and Chris Brown have officially reunited ... in song.

The Internet has been abuzz that Brown would be featured on the remix of Rihanna’s song “Birthday Cake,” but the tumultuous exes surprised us all when they simultaneously tweeted each other links of not one, but two remixes where they had collaborated.

Brown tweeted Rihanna first with a link to the remix of her song saying, “YIKES! Cake, cake, cake!” Rihanna then followed suit tweeting a link to the remix of Chris’s song “Turn Up the Music” that they collaborated on saying “Turn up the music remix #Rihanna Navy #Teambreezy enjoy!!!”

With their collective remixes now circulating the airwaves, the controversy surrounding the exes has escalated to another level, something it appears Rihanna and Chris wanted to achieve when posting the tracks at the exact same time. Only three years after Brown pled guilty to felony assault on Rihanna after their fight the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards, many people are questioning whether the former couple should be working together rather communicating at all.

There have been rumors of reconciliation between Rihanna and Chris for months, fueled in the last few days by him tweeting her “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBYN!” on her 24th birthday with her promptly retweeting and replying “Thanks!” After listening to their highly suggestive verses on the “Birthday Cake” remix, it appears speculation will only continue to escalate on their romantic reunion from here.

Do you think Rihanna should be collaborating with Chris?
