Ah, every bride and groom dreams of their big day in a majestic way: White dress. Black tuxedo. White … Castle? Yup!
Tom Uriarte and Erin Swartz got married Saturday at a White Castle restaurant in Eatontown, New Jersey, according to HLN affiliate WCBS.
The couple won the burger-joint wedding in a contest put on by New York radio station 92.3 – and there was some sentimentality attached. “We had our first date here about six years ago,” Uriarte told WCBS.

“We were going across the street to the mall to go to the movies and we were running late and we didn’t have time for a sit-down dinner and we came here and got some sliders instead,” Swartz recalled.
Ah, sliders. The mini-burger of love. Let’s not judge, shall we? Many modest wedding receptions feature finger food that pales in comparison to the delicious spoils of White Castle.
No word on where the couple went for their honeymoon, but you just know there were fries with that shake.
