Bobby Brown had a quite a busy day this past Saturday.

He started the day with a dramatic appearance and exit at his ex-wife Whitney Houston’s funeral. The incident happened after Brown had a heated exchange with security. Bobby told HLN in a statement, “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene.”

He then put the incident behind him and jetted off to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut for a concert performance with his band, New Edition. Bobby started the concert acknowledging his Whitney’s passing. "I want to give blessing to my ex-wife Whitney Houston. I love you," Brown said while pointing his finger in the air.

According to Us Weekly things got emotional when New Edition performed their last song, “Home Again.” During the song Bobby could be seen wiping tears from his face.

After the concert Brown took time to unwind from the hectic day. Sources tell People magazine Brown relaxed with fellow band mates at Bobby Flay's restaurant Bar Americain. Around 2:15 a.m. Bobby hit a high-roller blackjack table where minimum bets start at $500. One eyewitness tells People, "In the end, it looked like his heart wasn't in it. No one gambles for 20 minutes. It was like token gambling just because they were there at the casino."

He then spent some time taking pictures with fans before he headed to his hotel room with fiance, Alicia Ethridge, around 2 a.m.
