Reality star and Skinnygirl creator Bethenny Frankel is known for finding humor in almost any situation. Now Frankel is opening up about a very serious time in her life.
While on the "Today" Show promoting the new season of her Bravo show, “Bethenny Ever After,” Frankel revealed she had been pregnant with her second child but suffered a miscarriage.
“At eight weeks I miscarried. That was a very emotional experience and it had a lot of different things that came with it,” Frankel told Today’s Savannah Guthrie. Frankel then choked up speaking about her 21-month-old daughter Bryn, “Thinking about women who can't have their own baby, even the first baby, I'm lucky. I have the most beautiful daughter in the world.”
Frankel said the miscarriage happened recently and won’t be part of her reality show this season. She did say that she is not afraid to show the world other hardships in her life like running a business, raising a baby and being a good wife.
"You can't always be there like a fairy princess in a wedding gown and say how perfect life is and then when things aren't perfect not be honest about it. I said I would connect with fans about what was going on. A lot of people can relate. It's the truth."
