Whitney Houston leaves behind more than a legacy. Her 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina is now facing a life without her mother. In the days following Houston's death, Bobbi Kristina was "overwhelmed," according to a source, and was rushed to the hospital.
Now, as the world prepares to say goodbye to Whitney, Bobbi Kristina joins a group of famous children who are living the legacy of their famous parents who passed far too soon.

Prince, Paris and Blanket Jackson
If there was one death that shocked the music world more than Whitney Houston's, it was Michael Jackson. Since his passing in June 2009, his three children have stepped into the spotlight, often speaking on behalf of the Jackson family and appearing at events, including a controversial Jackson tribute concert last year.
The eldest Jackson siblings, Prince and Paris, have begun giving interviews and appeared in commercial endorsements in the past few years.
The family has also weathered the trial of Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, which attracted international attention and ultimately landed Murray behind bars.
In January, the children attended the premiere of Cirque Du Soleil's "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour" premiere. None of Jackson's children ever got to watch him perform onstage.
Since Jackson also did not get a chance to add his hand prints in front of the storied Grauman's Chinese Theater, Prince, Paris and Blanket committed theirs in his memory.
"This, right here, is his lifetime achievement award," Prince said at the event. "This is what he strived to get, and this is what we are giving him now."
Alia Rose, daughter of Teena Marie
"I'm scared, I'm so scared! I can't move her ... I'm terrified." These were the heartbreaking words 19-year-old Alia Rose said to a 911 operator in 2010 after finding her mother, who had died in her sleep of an apparent seizure. In April of 2011, Alia Rose sat down with Essence Magazine and discussed her grief over her mother's untimely passing.
"Honestly, I'm still figuring out how I feel about the situation," Alia said, just a few months after her mother's death. "... but I'm doing alright because I'm one with God. And my mom always instilled a spiritual relationship and that's what's keeping me going right now."

Alia said she missed her mother's voice most of all. The teenager had performed with her mother several times, and is in the process of releasing her next project, a posthumous album of songs Teena Marie left behind. "I have two duets with her on this album," said Alia. "I'm more focused on her right now. I've been creatively sparked like I've never been sparked before ... I'm going to work!"
Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love
Frances Bean was only 20 months old when her father fatally shot himself. From that moment, she was destined for a life of rock and roll infamy. "She has a legend on her shoulders," her mother Courtney once said.
However, the wild, roller-coaster life of Courtney Love has thrust Frances Bean into several unwanted public affairs, including custody issues and a temporary restraining order. Possibly because of this fact, she remains a very private person.
Now 19, Frances Bean is active in art and music communities. In 2010 she debuted an art collection with an unprintable name at an L.A. gallery and has interned for Rolling Stone. She is also engaged to The Rambles frontman Isaiah Silvah.
Though Frances Bean has shied away from following directly in her parents' footsteps, she acknowledges her famous lineage with a straightforward attitude befitting her heritage.
"I'm famous by default," she told Harpers Bazaar in 2008. "I came out of the womb and people wanted to know who I was because of my parents ... I'm not my parents. People need to wait until I've done something valid with my life."
