Russell Brand, Katy Perry reach divorce settlement

It wasn't long ago that the world learned the popular pairing of Russell Brand and Katy Perry wasn't meant to last. The couple filed for divorce in Los Angeles on December 30.

On Tuesday, Katy Perry notified the Superior Court of Los Angeles that the former couple had reached a divorce settlement agreement.  

Katy Perry signed the document with a heart and a smiley face.

"The parties have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party," Perry's attorney wrote in the filing.

The document also says Perry is seeking a dissolution of the marriage based on irreconcilable differences.

The document does not include any details about the couple's agreement.
