Sorry America, you missed out. According to Michele Bachmann, she was the "perfect candidate" and now the country is left with a merely "acceptable" GOP field.
The Minnesota congresswoman and former GOP presidential candidate was asked by Bloomberg TV's Al Hunt to name who she thought was the most conservative candidate. She took the credit for herself.
"I was, I was the perfect candidate," she said. "America had their chance with the perfect candidate. But any of our candidates are going to be acceptable to the American people."
She went on to say President Obama was "in big trouble" politically. Bachmann herself ran into a little trouble when she finished sixth in her home state of Iowa's caucuses last month and subsequently dropped out of the race. However, she will seek re-election in Congress.
