Robin Meade's Thursday Preview: Ferry Sinks With 300 People On Board

How can it be Feb 2nd, Groundhog Day? I feel like we just finished this song and dance.
I have a love/hate relationship with this day as a news anchor.
On one hand, I love showing live pictures of the funny folks at Gobbler’s Knob dancing at 6 in the morning (as I wonder out loud "is there alcohol involved?").
On the other hand I despise how long it takes the handlers to "proclaim" what Punxsutawney Phil "decides," and that he almost ALWAYS allegedly sees his shadow allegedly bringing more winter. And finally, I feel bad for the rodent. Lights and noise and singing "Y-M-C-A" ain’t a natural occurrence for groundhogs.
