So Brad Pitt, huh?
During a radio interview on Tuesday, Newt Gingrich said if he could have anyone play him in a movie, it would be, of all people, Brad Pitt.
“No, I don’t look like him at all,” Gingrich admitted. “He’s thinner, he’s better looking, he’s younger. But you asked me if I had anyone who could play me in a movie, why not go for Brad Pitt? Look, if you’re gonna go for it… You gotta just relax and just, you know, let your imagination soar.”
Dare to dream, Newt! But we can’t help but wonder why he would pick someone whose hair is so obviously liberal, and whose tie wardrobe is so depressingly monochromatic.
Tell us, dear readers, who should play Newt in the completely hypothetical Gingrich-licious biopic? How about silver fox John Slattery? Philip Seymour Hoffman, maybe? As Newt says, "Let your imagination soar!"
