Hide, Sacramento! The skunks are coming, and they're ready to get it on.
Hundreds of the frisky critters are descending upon the city from their natural habitats to participate in some smelly, smelly skunk love. Hey, some species have wine and chocolate, others have mass migrations.
The mating season is supposed to last until May, but in the meantime, an area animal trapper told KTXL residents should be prepared for their new neighbors. In fact, he says 90% of the calls he has received lately are about skunks that have gotten into houses.
Oh, and you probably want to go ahead and hide your cats, too, mon amour.
