Is Ferris Bueller back?
Twenty-six years after Matthew Broderick gave us the ultimate day off, a new teaser trailer seems to imply he's gonna do it again. A robed Broderick, trudging through a fancy suite, pulls open the curtains and exclaims, "How can I handle work on a day like today?"
Sound familiar? (The original line was "How can I possibly be expected to handle school on a day like this?")
Another big question stands: What exactly is Broderick, who looks little worse for the wear almost three decades later, selling with these spots?
Any guesses?
Though we'll have to wait for the Super Bowl for the answer, we're pretty sure it won't be a Ferrari.
UPDATE: We were half right! Bueller (er, Broderick) will be living it up for Honda, and the details get even more exciting. According to Jalopnik, the ad will reprise some of the Ferrari-licious stunts in the original, except in a Honda CR-V. Also, the super-expensive spot was reportedly directed by Todd Phillips, writer/director of "The Hangover." Ferris Bueller, you're our hero!
