Come on, Corner Canyon High School. Loosen up a little!
The Utah school decided to nix its potential new Cougar mascot because the term could possibly be offensive to some women.
Somewhere, in the company of a beautiful young man, Demi Moore is shaking her head.
Canyons school district pointed out not only does the term leave a bad taste in their mouths, three other Utah schools and Brigham Young University have all claimed the cougar as their mascot, although it’s not clear whether those schools define it as a graceful animal of prey or a lusty older woman.
Apparently, what is good enough for Brigham Young just won't do for Corner Canyon, so the high school will instead be the first in Utah to adopt a Charger as its mascot.
According to dictionary.com, a "Charger" could either be a cavalry horse or a large, flat dish.
We're gonna need more clarification here...
