Judge orders Casey to answer two questions

NEED TO KNOW
  • Casey Anthony has successfully used the Fifth Amendment to avoid answering questions in lawsuits
  • A judge rules Anthony must answer 2 questions regarding her daughter's death

So far Casey Anthony has used the Fifth Amendment to shield herself from questions in civil lawsuits.

But yesterday, a judge ruled that Anthony must answer two questions, or more specifically, make two admissions, regarding a lawsuit brought by Texas EquuSearch.

The first: “Admit that you did not observe or hear George Anthony call 911 at any time to report that he or you had discovered that Caylee Marie Anthony had drowned in the swimming pool at your parents' house on or about June 16, 2008.”

The second: “Admit that you were aware in September 2008 and October 2008 that EquuSearch was conducting searches for your daughter, Caylee.”

Texas EquuSearch is suing Anthony for the money it spent searching for Caylee.  The attorneys who represent EquuSearch are arguing that Anthony received the organization’s search and rescue services through fraud.
