Could Casey Anthony be planning to fire the man who saved her from a murder conviction?

Jose Baez defended Anthony in her trial in the death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee, but their relationship may have soured, according to one report. The New York Post says that Anthony is furious over how Baez has handled the media negotiations for her first interview since the trial.

Baez has reportedly demanded $750,000 for Anthony’s interview, but has failed to find a media outlet willing to fork over that kind of cash.

But could Tot Mom be mad enough to fire him?

Well, Baez’s representative doesn’t have much to say.

Wednesday morning, Baez’s rep told HLN Producer Selin Darkalstanian this:

“He is not going to comment this week at all. He does not want to get caught up in this. He is not going to comment on this story at all. You will not see him on TV or read a statement from him.”
