Casey Anthony's parents are breaking their silence over a newly-surfaced video of their daughter.
Family attorney Mark Lippman issued a statement on behalf of Cindy and George Anthony Thursday:
"Cindy and George were made aware of the video diary of their daughter this morning, January 5th 2012. They are concerned that the release of this video or any future videos could endanger their daughter. Cindy and George hope that Casey remains safe wherever she may be."
On the video, which surfaced Thursday morning, Casey says, “So, this is my first video diary. It’s October 13th which is a Thursday, 2011. And I'm just trying to figure out my new computer and I don't know, I guess I'm liking it so far."
In the four-minute clip, she says it's “surreal” how much her life has changed since July and talks about having an "adopted" dog in the house where she's staying while she waits for her year of probation to end.
She does not mention her late daughter Caylee at all in the clip.
