James Franco, now a big-time novelist

James Franco is much more than an actor. He is also a prolific philosopher who is interested in making your life better. Have you seen his art? How about his invisible art? Or taken his class at NYU about how to adapt poetry to film?

He is a poet, too -- you see -- or at least a writer of prose. He has a book of short stories out called "Palo Alto." It’s right there, on Amazon, where you can buy it, and it will change the way you see stuff. If you don’t think you’re ready for that, you can just read the reviews saying how excellent it is. Or how terrible it is.

Now, Franco is coming out with another work. This time, Amazon is actually publishing his first full novel, titled “Actors Anonymous.” If you guessed it is a semi-autobiographical tome about his time as an actor, you are right. You must go to college a lot, like James Franco. Did you know he is working on his second PhD?

Perhaps this new novel will set straight his reputation of sleeping in class, getting a D for poor attendance, and that dreadful time he hosted the Oscars, then skipped out on his own after-party to return to classes...

Are you looking forward to the book? Or are you ready to see Franco become a little less ubiquitous? Let us know!!!
