Kyle Richards is known for living the glamorous life on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Now, in her new book “Life is Not a Reality Show,” the reality star dishes on how to find love, success and happiness in the real world. When Kyle stopped by HLN’s Showbiz Tonight we had to get to know her better.
HLN: Last show you DVR’d?
Kyle: “The Real Housewives”
HLN: Favorite “Housewives” star?
Kyle: I really love NeNe from Atlanta. She really makes me laugh. I think she is hilarious.
Kyle: Gosh, that’s a tough one because Lisa is very sharp, but I wouldn’t want to mess with NeNe.
HLN: Worst part of sharing your life on TV?
Kyle: The worst part is the dissecting of my personality or dissecting my relationship with my sister Kim and me. People think they understand after two seasons on Bravo, but it's decades in the making. It’s very hard to be analyzed like that.
HLN: Best thing about sharing your life on TV?
Kyle: I haven’t found it yet! Wait, let me think. There has to be something. Even me being able to do this book and share it with people is a lot of fun!
HLN: Best advice anyone ever gave you?
Kyle: The best I ever got was from my mother to be confident. And if you don’t feel it, fake it until you make it. You have to exude confidence to succeed in life and in business and in relationships. I think that is the best advice.
HLN: Worst advice?
Kyle: I didn’t listen to it.
HLN: We’ve seen you showing off your splits on “RHOBH.” Any hidden talents you’re holding out on?
Kyle: Touching my tongue to my nose!
HLN: What did you want to be when you grew up?
Kyle: I wanted to be a lawyer when I was a little girl. If only I had gone threw with that. Boy, what if!
HLN: Guilty pleasure?
Kyle: Shopping. Very guilty.
Tune into HLN’s Showbiz Tonight at 11 p.m. ET/PT to see Kyle take on her “Real Housewives” co-star’s quickie marriage in Vegas!
