‘Tis the season for happy couples to put a ring on it – and actor Matthew McConaughey jumped on the trend yesterday by asking his girlfriend of five years, Camila Alves, if she would be his one and only.
“Just asked camila to marry me, #MerryChristmas,” the star tweeted, along with a sweet pic of him, his bald head, and his betrothed.
Alves’ answer was obviously yes, no surprise since the couple have two children together and McConaughey, 42, recently confessed to Esquire that Alves was the woman he wanted to “make a family with” and “live [their] life out together.” But still, there’s no harm in making it official.
