Do you ever sit at your desk or at home and sigh, thinking, “Wow, I could really use some Hall & Oates in my life right now”?
Those days are behind you. A new viral sensation delivers four Hall and Oates hits at the touch of a button.
It’s called Callin' Oates, and all you have to do is dial a number (719-26-OATES, natch), listen to a warm, automated female voice read out the choices, and wham! You’re nodding along to “One on One,” “Rich Girl,” “Maneater,” or “Private Eyes” (clap clap).
Turns out, the guys responsible for the hotline were just doing their jobs. A pair of newly-hired employees at a San Francisco communications company were required to build an app, and somehow Callin’ Oates was born.
Yes, we tried it. And yes, it is glorious.
