Is that what we think it is? Yes, we had to do a double-take, too. Check out these high-rise towers that some say look eerily similar to the World Trade Center during the 9/11 attacks.
The luxury residential buildings are a proposed design that would extend Seoul, Korea's business district. The two towers -- one over 850 feet, the other almost 1,000 feet -- are connected by a "pixelated cloud." The 10-story high structure would house several amenities, including a fitness studio, pools, decks, gardens, restaurants and cafes.
The idea sounds pretty cool but was the design done in poor taste? Some are saying the "pixelated cloud" looks a little too much like the debris and smoke that poured out of the towers on 9/11.
The Dutch architecture firm that designed the buildings has since apologized on its site, saying "it was not our intention to create an image resembling the attacks nor did we see the resemblance during the design process."
Are you offended by the resemblance?
