Former Penn State University assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is facing new charges of child rape and sexual molestation. The additional charges are detailed in a new grand jury presentment that includes testimony from the alleged victims.
The new victims are identified as "Victim Number 9" and "Victim Number 10" in the new grand jury presentment.
"Victim 9" testified that he met Sandusky through a camp run by Sandusky’s charity, The Second Mile. He says Sandusky’s affectionate touching became sexual and that the abuse lasted several years. He also testified that Sandusky told him to keep the sexual assault a secret.
The grand jury presentment says he would spend the night at Sandusky's house occasionally, and that is where the alleged sexual abuse would occur.
According to the report: "Sandusky also attempted to engage in anal penetration of Victim 9 on at least sixteen occasions and at times did penetrate him. The victim testified that on a least one occasion he screamed for help, knowing that Sandusky's wife was upstairs, but no one ever came to help him."
"Victim 10" testified that he also met Sandusky through The Second Mile. The boy recalled wrestling with Sandusky when the coach pulled the boy’s gym shorts down and performed oral sex on him. Sandusky also allegedly made the boy perform oral sex on him.
The number of accusers now totals 10, all of whom claim to have been introduced to Sandusky through his charity.
