Report: Alleged PSU victim bullied out of school

One of the alleged Penn State abuse victims has been bullied out of school, PennLive.com reports, citing the teen's psychologist.

Students blame the 17-year-old high school senior -- identified as Victim 1 in the grand jury report -- for the university’s firing of legendary football coach Joe Paterno, psychologist Mike Gillum told the site.

Read the grand jury's report.

Gillum, who is helping the alleged victim’s family, said Central Mountain High School students in Clinton County, Pennsylvania reacted badly to the dismissal and school officials didn’t offer guidance for them.

The boy was called names and received verbal threats, which became too much for him, Gillum added.

The teen is just one of many who have accused former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky of sexual abuse

Gillum said the teen "feels good" about seeing other alleged victims come forward, adding "that's the only good that's come of all this."

The school district has not commented on the report.
