Could there be a royal bun in the oven?
Sure, if InTouch Weekly’s super-exclusive, totally anonymous royal source is to be believed. The source, which according to the mag “correctly revealed other secrets, including their honeymoon location and the queen’s wedding gift to Kate,” said the duchess is six weeks along with her first child.
So is it a boy or a girl? The mysterious source says it’s too early to tell, but Prince William is hoping for a girl. The couple has also allegedly started organizing nurseries in their various abodes.
If the rumors are true, William and Kate sure work fast. They were married just seven months ago, igniting worldwide wedding mania and fostering the enduring American fascination with all things royal across the pond.
This isn’t the first time Kate’s been the subject of pregnancy buzz. Rumors were swirling in September that Middleton was pregnant with twins, but a palace representative quickly quashed any speculation, saying the couple was not ready to have children and that "it would be [the palace] who announce it, not a gossip magazine."
However, the royal family has yet to bat down this latest round of rumors. One thing’s for sure: If she really is expecting this time, the source says Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II will both be thrilled. And really, what proud family wouldn’t be?
