Here’s an announcement we didn’t see coming: Brad Pitt is getting ready to quit acting!
Yes, the same man who made being a vampire sexy even before Twilight is planning his departure from the acting biz. Pitt made the announcement while promoting his latest hit film, “Moneyball,” in Tokyo. Without a moment of hesitation, 47-year-old Pitt told Australian "60 Minutes" he will quit acting in three years.
Pitt plans on moving behind the camera once he gives up his acting days. “I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together. And getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher time otherwise,” Pitt said.
For those of you who are devastated over the news of Brad’s early retirement, here’s some good news. Brad is not ruling out expanding his brood with Angelina. "I don't know that we're finished. I don’t know yet," said the father of six young kids.
Brad says that sleep is something he plans on doing “later.” Right now he is enjoying the late night and early mornings with his children. “Late nights are so fun when one of them is up or those mornings when they get up and make pancakes or something. That’s what it’s about,” said Papa Pitt.
