Just 10 days after filing for divorce in her quickie marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian is beginning work as a marriage counselor? OK...Kim won't be helping real couples work through their martial problems, but she is set to start filming a role in Tyler Perry’s latest project, ironically titled “The Marriage Counselor.”
After filing for divorce on October 31, Kim began jet-setting all around the world. First, she jumped on a plane to Australia to escape the media frenzy surrounding her split and promote her Kardashian Kollection line with sister Khloe. After cutting the trip short, Kim made a brief stop in Los Angeles before heading to Minnesota to meet up with soon-to-be-ex hubby Kris.
When Kim went back in L.A. she kept a low profile (she hasn’t been spotted by the paparazzi since returning from Minnesota), now E! Online is reporting that she continued her whirlwind traveling by flying cross country to Atlanta to film her “The Marriage Counselor” role.
According to Deadline Hollywood, Kim is set to play Ava, a co-worker of main character, counselor Judith. Ava helps her friend gain confidence and get a makeover after discovering her husband is cheating on her. Media mogul Tyler Perry, whose studio is Atlanta based, is reportedly taking heat from fans for the casting.
