Kim Kardashian filed for divorce faster than Vera Wang could get knock-off versions of the celeb's two wedding dresses into stores. (Sidenote: Who wears more than ONE wedding dress?)
Wedding retailer David’s Bridal and bridal designer Vera Wang signed a deal with Kim to create low-priced replicas of both dresses for Wang's White Collection. But the gowns won’t even be ready to hit the rack until February—three whole months after the reality TV star filed for divorce from her hubby of 72 days. The Wall Street Journal reports the dresses will cost a mere $1,500 each. That’s essentially pennies compared to the alleged $25,000 worth of tulle and Chantilly lace the unhappy bride wore down the aisle.
David’s Bridal hasn’t commented on the story.
Now, brides-to-be everywhere who oh-so-desperately wanted to look like Kim K in her “fairytale” wedding dress will have time to decide: Is it worth dressing like Kardashian knowing that the dress failed to produce “happiness ever after” for television’s royal couple?
