Some fans may be shocked at Kim Kardashian's divorce filing just 72 days into her marriage, but Khloe Kardashian-Odom never thought the union would last more than six months, "Today" co-host and wedding attendee Kathy Lee Gifford said Tuesday on her show.
"At the reception afterwards, Khloe, who always says what she thinks, walked by me and said, 'I give it six [expletive] months,'" Gifford said.
Gifford's anecdote may not be surprising, given the tense relationship between Khloe and soon-to-be ex-brother-in-law Kris Humphries. Kim K's little sister famously questioned the basketball player's intentions. He battled back, wondering aloud if Khloe only married her husband after dating him for a month because he was a Los Angeles Laker.
Gifford, who was discussing backlash to the news of the divorce, also addressed Kardashian's statement on the split.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," Kardashian said in a statement announcing the breakup.
"The time for careful consideration is before [the marriage]," Giffords said.
