It's official: Kim and Kris are dunzo.

HLN has learned Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries on Monday morning. According to the divorce filing, the date of separation is October 31, 2011. That means this made-in-reality-show-heaven marriage lasted just 72 days. The reason for the abrupt ending to this fairy tale? "Irreconcilable differences."

The news doesn't come as a huge surprise. Kim recently told People magazine that married life hasn't been "ideal." The promo for the new season of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" on E! appears to have been foreshadowing the big break-up. In the teaser video, Kris and Kim -- decked to the nines -- step off of a helicopter, while an ominous voiceover says: "They have the world at their feet, but that could all change in a New York minute."

Now we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out on TV  -- and in real life.
