In the case of the Kim Kardashian, a movie role!

On her b-day, Kim confirmed the news on Twitter, “Big news!! I'm co-starring in Tyler Perry's new movie!”

"The Marriage Counselor” is based on one of Tyler Perry’s plays. Yes, we acknowledge the obvious irony of the film's title considering reports hinting that Kim and new hubby Kris Humphries are on the outs! Rest assured Kim won’t be the one dishing out the marriage advice. Anyway, the newlyweds sure looked cozy celebrating Kim's 31st birthday throughout the weekend.

The film revolves around a marriage counselor named Judith. When Judith starts to get restless in her own marriage, Kim’s character steps in to give her friend a big-city makeover. According to reports on Deadline, shooting is scheduled to start in Atlanta in late October.

This isn't the the first time Kim has dabbled in the movie business. She appeared in “Deep in the Valley” and co-stared along Vanessa Minnillo and Carmen Electra in “Disaster Movie.”
