You wouldn't believe some of the responses people are getting from their Siri, the new voice-activated virtual personal assistant that comes with Apple’s iPhone 4S.
Spouting robo-quips that are alternately clever, funny or completely random, Siri is rarely at a loss for words. (Want to see it in action? Watch video of CNN's Doug Gross taking the program for a spin!) As it happens, the New York Times’ Gadgetwise blog asked readers to send in questions for Siri, then posted virtual assistant's answers. The Q&As include:
Q: “How much wood can a woodchuck chuck?”
A: “42 cords of wood, to be exact. Everyone knows that.”
Q: “Who’s your daddy?”
A: “You are. Can we get back to work now?”
Meanwhile, the Tumblr blog “S*** That Siri Says” has similarly amusing human/Siri chit chats.
Human: “I’m tired Siri”
Siri: “I hope you’re not driving.”
H: “Talk dirty to me”
S: “The carpet needs vacuuming.”
H: “What’s the meaning of life”
S: “I find it odd that you would ask this of an inanimate object.”
So, what’s the funniest response you’ve gotten from Siri?
