It looks like NBC dropped the “Playboy Club” so hard, Eddie Cibrian hurt himself. The star of the ousted drama was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago Tuesday night after injuring his ankle under a steel door while filming for the show.

The Playboy Club was the first cancellation of the fall season, after a meager three episodes. As if that wasn’t enough, the Chicago Sun-Times reports that the star’s California home was damaged by a drunk driver on Monday night.

Poor Eddie, bad news really does come in threes!
