Now that Ashton Kutcher has officially replaced Charlie Sheen on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men,” we can’t help but wonder what’s become of his TV pals from his previous sitcom, “That ‘70s Show,” which wrapped in 2006.
We all know about the big-screen success that Topher Grace (Eric Forman) and Mila Kunis (Jackie Burkhart) achieved with starring roles in movies like ‘Spider-Man 3’ and ‘Black Swan,’ respectively. So how about their equally funny ex-castmates?
Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti), now 31, has remained in-demand on TV, with guest-starring roles on shows like “House M.D.” and “How I Met Your Mother.” This year, she filmed a sitcom pilot based on the life of Chelsea Handler. She’s got two big-screen appearances on tap next year, including a dramedy called “Lay the Favorite,” co-starring Bruce Willis, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Vince Vaughn.
Wilmer Valderrama (Fez) has a host of acting credits to his name post-“That ‘70s Show,” the most notable of which is arguably his humorous role in this year’s Julia Roberts-Tom Hanks rom-com “Larry Crowne.” But did you realize that for the last five-plus years he’s also lent his voice to the title role in the animated Disney kids’ series “Handy Manny”? Pretty wholesome for a rumored ladies’ man who’s been romantically linked to the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Mandy Moore.
The most exciting post-“’70s” development for Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde)? We’d wager it’s his 2009 engagement to Bijou Phillips. His career’s been going pretty well, too: He acted alongside Jim Carrey in “Yes Man,” and has guested on shows like “White Collar” and “Raising Hope.” He has four films slated for 2012 release, including the crime-thriller “Chronicle,” which co-stars Milla Jovovich and Ryan Phillippe.
