Posted: 11:36 AM ET

Team USA is now one win away from their first Women's World Cup since 1999 with a win over France yesterday. The US Women are trying to become to become the first team to win the Women's World Cup three times, after taking titles in 1991 and 1999. And it safe to say that Abby Wambach has the most popular head in America right now. Because for the second game in a row, Wambach used her noggin' to give Team USA a huge lift. She tied the game Against Brazil on Sunday with seconds left and yesterday against France, she put the U.S. up for good with just 11 minutes left in the match. 3 minutes later Alex Morgan added some insurance and we win 3-1. We now play Japan in the Women's World Cup Finals on Sunday.

The Giants' Brian Wilson is currently one fo the best pitchers in baseball... and one of the weirdest... You gotta check out what Wilson wore to the ESPY Awards last night... And he was totally proud of his fashion statement.

The guy who caught Derek Jeter's 3000th hit had financial problems, but not anymore! Because a few sporting goods companies has pledged at least $50,000 to help him out... Modell’s Sporting Goods and Steiner Sports, each pledged $25,000 to help Christian Lopez pay off his student loans and the taxes he's going to owe for accepting 4 luxury suite tickets from the Yankees for the rest of the season. Modell's will also donate 5 percent of the earnings from Yankees merchandise sold at their sporting goods stores over the next week to Lopez. And maybe the coolest thing of all, the owner of Modell's gave Lopez the authentic Yankees 2009 World Series ring he got for being a major team sponsor. The ring's worth more than 40-grand.

And you have got to check out the only 90-yard goal you're probably ever gonna see!! In an exhibition game featuring Major League Soccer's San Jose Earthquake, the goalie, David Bingham boots it the length of the field and scores the goooooooaaaaalll!! Apparently the sun got into the eyes of the opposing goalie... Bingham said, "Sometimes it's good to be lucky!"

It's a bird, it's a plane... It's a Tiger! Tiger Woods' life story is now being told in a comic book... Just like they did with Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Bluewater Productions is printing an unauthorized biographic comic book about Tiger... Still no word on when Woods will return to golf... Injuries kept him out of the British Open which teed off this morning...

After losing all feeling in his body after a during a college football game last year, a Rutgers player is defying the odds... by standing up! Doctors predicted he'd remain completely paralyzed for the rest of his life, so this is huge!! It's been small steps for Eric LeGrand. First he was taken off the ventilator. Next he started eating on his own... Then he started feeling twitches throughout his body... and last month he even moved his arms a bit. Well yesterday, Eric tweeted this picture of himself standing with the assistance of a machine with his mom at his side. Eric has been in a wheel chair since an ugly hit in a Rutgers football game last October. His progress and perseverance since then has been unbelievable.
